In many European countries lack of literacy competencies (functional illiteracy) leads to a higher risk of poverty and hinders the integration into the labour market.

The Project Literacy and Vocation - LitVoc - transfers from the model project AlphaZ – Vocationally Oriented Literacy Education (www.alpha-z.de) a coherent model making literacy education and training more relevant to the world of work and labour market, for people's employability and entrepreneurial potential: it defines key competences (literacy/numeracy, mathematics, digital, learning to learn) necessary for acquisition of vocational competences.

Das Projekt Literacy and Vocation – LitVoc - transferiert aus dem Modellprojekt AlphaZ – Grundbildung für den Beruf (www.alpha-z.de) ein kohärentes Modell, das Grundbildung und berufliche Bildung zusammenführt und auf Arbeitsmarkt und Beschäftigung ausgerichtet. LitVoc definiert Grundbildungskompetenzen (schriftliche, mündliche Kommunikation, Mathematik, Medien, Lernen lernen), die für den Erwerb von beruflichen Kompetenzen die Basis bilden.

Dans de nombreux pays européens l'absence des compétences de base (analphabétisme fonctionnel) a pour conséquence un risque plus élevé de pauvreté et rend plus difficile l'intégration dans le marché du travail.

Le projet transféré un modèle cohérent - développé en le projet AlphaZ - Alphabétisation à Vocation Professionnelle - qui réunit l'éducation de base à la formation professionnelle et qui est adapté au marché du travail et à l'emploi. Il définit les compétences d'éducation de base (communication écrite, orale, les mathématiques, les médias, apprendre à apprendre) qui sont indispensables pour l'acquisition de compétences professionnelles.
